Westmount Square Surgical Center (WSSC) is a private surgical center located near downtown Montreal, and in close proximity to many hotels and services. The WSSC has two operating theaters and a recovery room equipped with all the instrumentation necessary for laparoscopic surgery.
Most of the anesthesiologists, surgical assistants, physicians, and nurses are affiliated with one of the McGill University Health Centres (MUHC). In case of emergencies, the Montreal General Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital are both within close distance.

The Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal (HSCM) is one of the largest hospitals in all of Quebec. It has a well-known trauma center, one of the best critical care units in all of Canada, and the busiest in terms of surgical volume in all of Montreal. HSCM is a teaching hospital affiliated with Université de Montreal. The bariatric center of the entire Université de Montréal hospital network is located at this hospital.
HSCM is located to the northeast of the city, in the neighborhood of Cartierville.
